We met on the 1st of February 2020, and the rest was history. Daniel likes to call it love at first sight—and maybe he was right. The joke that won me over? When I told him I went to Melbourne Uni, he smiled and said, "So do I… Melbourne Polytechnic."

What started as a casual night out with friends at Holey Moley quickly became something special. As the world changed around us during COVID, we found comfort, strength, and so much laughter in each other. We’ve shared unforgettable memories, grown through every challenge, and supported each other every step of the way.

I couldn’t imagine walking down the aisle to anyone else.

From those early days — just 19 and 20 years old — we’ve been side by side through every chapter. Back then, Daniel was a young apprentice carpenter and Isabella was a bright-eyed uni student, just starting her psychology degree.

We’ve grown up together — learning, dreaming, and always pushing each other to be our best. Through the ups and downs, we’ve supported each other wholeheartedly and cheered each other on every step of the way.

Now, Daniel runs his own business, Scalliti Built, and Isabella has become a registered psychologist after seven years of hard work and dedication. We’ve come so far — and yet, it feels like it all flew by in the blink of an eye.

Oh, how time flies when you’re having fun. We can't wait for the next adventure — as husband and wife.
